Joe & Giuseppe Italian Restaurant in Arlington Heights

Great restaurant with excellent food and quick service. I can think of no reason to give them anything less than five stars......except for their execution of safety with this current epidemic. There’s plexiglass where you order but the order taker was not wearing a mask. The manager floating through the dining room wasn’t wearing a mask. The servers were wearing their masks under their chin. There were no sanitation sites in plain view. I watched them bus the tables and the employee didn’t seem to be using a sanitizer. And, what about letting customers refill their cups with soft drinks at the fountain counter? Hey, just hand out new cups for ten fifteen cents. A quarter maybe. But, stop allowing customers to press a used cup onto the soft drink dispenser lever. Saliva transfer! Yuck. These are great people with a fantastic brand and we should support them. But there are safer restaurants taking customer health serious. I just couldn’t give five stars.
